I’m Catie Beth, owner & baker of ACB and I am so glad you’re here.

Aunt Cakie’s Bakery was born out of a love of baking birthday cakes for my nieces and nephews over the years.

At Aunt Cakie’s Bakery I provide custom cakes and french macarons in the Charlotte, NC area.

A custom cake is designed and made tailored for a particular person, event, or theme. Unlike standard cakes from a bakery, our custom cakes are personalized in terms of flavor, size, shape, and decoration.
They can range from simple designs with specific colors or themes to elaborate, multi-tiered cakes with intricate details and unique flavor combinations.
Custom cakes are great for events where the cake serves as a central, memorable part of the celebration.
$125 - $250 depending on the details and size of the cake.

French macarons are delicate sandwich cookies made from almond flour, egg whites, and sugar, with a crisp, airy shell and a chewy interior. These cookies are typically filled with ganache, buttercream, jam, or curd, creating a range of flavors and textures in each bite. Macarons come in a variety of vibrant colors, each corresponding to their flavor, and are known for their smooth, glossy tops and "feet" (a ruffled base formed during baking).

A 1st Birthday smash cake is a small cake made especially for a baby's first birthday! It is designed specifically for the baby to "smash" into, explore, and enjoy with their hands (and sometimes even their face!). It's a fun and messy tradition where the baby is encouraged to dig into the cake, allowing them to experience the textures, colors, and flavors. Often, parents capture this cute, messy moment in photos, creating a memorable keepsake of their child’s first birthday. Smash cakes are simpler than a “main” birthday cake and can be made with less sugar.
Smash cakes are simple, one tier cakes. Frosting can be plain, strawberry or chocolate. If you want something different fill out an inquiry form and we can absolutely make it something more unique!
$75 for a simple smash cake, custom requests are evaluated based on the design. and work required for the cake.
